who has headers (CIA), and a cat??

hey guys,
i was just wondering how your cat has held up after the headers, i have the cia headers and after i put them on i melted mt cat, it was a catco, both installed at the same time, so now i have no cat, and my car is too loud, so i wanna put one back on, i dont wanna pay alot but i guess i gotta get a good one if i want it to hold up. ive heard about the carsound and magnaflow, does anyone have feedback on this? i especially want to know if you have headers, if not then it wont help much.

first off, are you running open y-pipe? if so, just put a straight pipe, or a cutout in place of the cat...

if you aren't running open y-pipe, then you can try to relocate the cat... put straight pipe where the cat is/was now... and put the cat farther toward the back of the car, it should reduce the amount of heat the cat sees/feels whatever...
