Flowmaster = Crapmaster...I don't know where you have been getting your sources, but the last time that I checked, Flowmaster flowed the worst out of all of the catbacks. Like someone said earlier, flowmaster is a muffler, not a resonator/glass pack with big piping. Go with a CUSTOM SETUP, YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF!!

I have a cutom setup with no cat and and 2.5 inch piping with a flowmaster 40 series with delta flow and it sounds awesome. Most people think I have a v-8 and not just a 3.4l
looks bad , runs like hell

I personally hate the Series 80 Flowmaster, its been sitting in my storage closet since I used a saz-all on it. I went and had a custom cat delete, 3" I pipe with a 24", 3" I/O Summit Racing Glasspack that led into dual 2.5" outlets. No rasp, and lots of flow. With an awesome loud and deep rumble to it, all the way through the RPM band. I thought the Flowdisaster sounded like a tin can on the back... I even hate the sound on the V-8's. Stick with a custom set up and beware of Flowdisasters. - Tim

Magnaflow is great quiatly and is SS and you get there nice 3.5 nich tips. Its a true straight through desgin good stuff.

I have a flowmaster on my car, first car ive done anythign and learned on. Im never putting a flowmaster on anything i own again. Flowmaster is just that old fashioned muscle car sound there not made for performance. My v8 will be getting a magnaflow more then likely.

Get a Magnaflow. My dad had a muffler shop put on their own catback and it sounded ****ty, didn't last too long, and it didn't flow as good as what I have now...

The Magnaflow looks AMAZING (you'll seriously get some GREAT remarks from other people that see those pipes), sounds just like a V8, and is just a great system. I'm going with Magnaflow on all my future vehicles. I'm very pleased.

Oh, and get it off eBay if you can. That's what I did and I spared myself some money.

IceBird your a tool... if all your looking to do is start flame wars stop coming here. The Borla is a waste? I believe it comes with 3" piping, making it not a waste already. I'm not even gonna continue. Every member on Fv6/Cv6.com > you.

And you think 3 inch piping is worth $800? I do Believe other exaust systems come with 3 inch piping and dont cots anymore than the 2.75 or 2.5 version. Face it Borla is breaking it of in anyone that buys the catback. Picking the Borla Catback over any other good system is like choosing the $200 Air Jordens over the $50 Sketchers. I guess if thats what all the kids are using then go for it.
