ok, i jus got my 99 3.8l v6 camaro. it is very pretty. it has dual flows and i was wondering about some other things.
- Whisper Air Induction Lid -$99.99
- Fast Toys Ram Air Kit -$174.99
- Headers -$495.00?
- SS Style Hood and Airbox Kit- $1095.00

ok first of all i was wondering if each of these things are worth having. if so, which would be the best investment? any other recommendations? i wouldnt be able to get them all would i? they would get in the way of each other rite? well i was jus wondering what yall thought bout those parts. thanks for all your help

first you'd have to choose between an SS hood/airbox and the whisper lid; you can only use one or the other. once you figure that out it's all

it depends what youre looking to do. if youre looking for power...

gears, torque converter if youre into drag racing, and intake and exhaust are the way to go. maybe then throw in some nitrous for a nice little kick.

fast toys ram air or the slp kit are both good. you dont need the ss hood and airbox setup unless youre intersted in appearance.

you can pick up pacesetter headers (as good as any other brand i believe) for about 200 bucks before ceramic coating but i would say finish your entire exhaust setup first (including high flow cat).

instead of the 1000 dollars you were talking about with the hood on appearance, you could get some nice 17 inch rims and tires.

Welcome!
You should definitely do some searching, and read the Modifcation Database on the website... there are a lot of bang-for-the-buck mods that you haven't listed up there...

I learned the hard way when I started you can quickly spend $1000 and not get any faster :(

Good luck!

Oh, another tip, when asking for performance advice, indicate whether you have a 5sp or auto...it makes a HUGE difference
