I just got my Magnaflow system installed and I have to say that without a doubt this has been the worst exhaust system as far as install goes. There was a lot of tweaking that had to be done at an exhaust shop to get things even close to centered in the rear. It is still off but I was able to work with the guy in the shop to get things as close as possible to where I was happy with it. I think this will be the last Magnaflow system I ever purchase. It was sloppy workmanship. I've installed exhaust systems before and am used to having to make minor adjustments but not to the tune of a few inches everywhere. This system even took some cutting and bending to get the tips to even come close to looking right. But now that all the labor is done I'm pleased with it. There is no rubbing at all... a lot of interior drone but without Dynomat that's to be expected from a performance exhaust system.
As far as sound goes I like it. I installed the bullet resonator in the mid pipe and don't notice much raspiness at all. I still can tell that I am running a V6 but that's because I grew up around big block V8's for most of my life.
My recommendation for those of you who are thinking about a Magnaflow system is to take it to a shop if you do not have the proper cutting and welding tools available. Even better would be to get a muffler and a high flow cat and leave the rest of the system to an exhaust shop who can custom make the pipes for you. Clamps just won't cut it either. Even after torquing the clamps down, the system still felt loose so I had the shop weld everything together. Also make sure that you tell the shop how you want your tips hung. I left that part out and the exhaust guy hung them level which put them 3" below the bumper and it looked a bit off. He redid it free of charge to where it is now about 1/2" from the bumper and it looks a lot better.
Anyways, if you have questions let me know. I'll be happy to answer what I can.
