my headers came with new bolts..

its a pain having to retorque them all the time.

i got a deal at meineke to get the rest put on..

since i paid in cash.. they gave me the brand new flowmaster 80 series muffler, tailpipe, and tips FREE!! all i paid for was labor. only because the owner wasnt there..

so i saved nearly 25o bucks right there.. they only charged me 200 bucks..which i didnt mind because that was such a huge discount.

sound is awesome.. still gonna wait on everything to burn in.. especially the cat.

im in the process of ordering my o2 simm. and makeing a block off plate for the damn egr valve opening on the header.

right now its just a big exhaust leak because of that..

can it kill perfornance THAT MUCH?!!?

the guy who did my exhaust said that that tiny of a leak can rob major horsepower. that tru?

what materials should i use to make the block off plate?

as far as the price for the headers.

i got them for dirt cheap off a good friend online.. since they were not coated.. i sent them off to JET HOT to get coated. with discounts the coating costed no more than 150.

    im very satisfied.

just that one leak may be killing me.

oh. and problem solved for the middle spark plug on the passanger side. all u need is a 5/8 swivel socket to get in there. i'll be picking on eup tomorrow at a local hardware store.

i'll post pics as soon as i get the time.

thanks for read'n. hope all the info helps you out..

    anymore questions? ask away

i'd say.. out of the whole installation.. this is the order in which most fustrating events...

      1st being most fustrating...

      1. God damn heat shields

      2. o2 sensors in the way of EVERYTHING!

      3. working on my back the whole time.. on my freak'n ROCKY driveway..

      4. Aligning the new gaskets with the new headers.

      5. broken EGR valve. *now fixed.. just made block off plate*

      6. retorqueing the header bolts.

      7. waiting on exhaust to burn in..

      8. waiting on bennett autosupply to open up so i can pick up new plugs and wires.

      9. trying to find a hardware store that sells mac tools. for 5/8 swivle socket

ok i temporarily blocked off the EGR leak.

then i changed out my fuel filter.. and OMG! even with the misfire..it sounds awesome.. and it is FAST!!

i just ordered ngk tr55's and spiro spark plug wires.

they are copper plugs pregapped at .050 and im gonna self gap them at .060. so that should definately wake up my car.

and since i saved nearly 200 bucks on the installation of my exhaust.. im gonna go ahead and order SLP's Cold air kit./

        i'll keep you guys updated
