yes, but "technically" not nazi carb legal. egr base will be different. check the mount to see if stalk is transplanted to the hedder.

EGR valve problems i believe,they dont hook up.

yes the headers will bolt up fine and everthing, but as they said the emmisions crap is what may have to be modified. Now if you live in a state where you don't have inspections you should be able to get around the differences. Hell 2.8 headers will bolt onto a 3.4, the bolt pattern and exhaust ports are in the same location on all of those engines. I know I have a set of 2.8 manifolds on my 3.4, and the 3.1 is no different just the smog stuff possibly.

if teh egr stalk is transferred fromteh manifolds, then it won't be an issue. IF the hood isn't popped, it won't be an issue either.

you guys are going to think that im very stupid but remember im just starting to get into cars. what does teh and egr stand for? will performance parts for a 3.4 fit and work on a 3.1 and if i put a new 2.8 manifold on will it decrease hp or give me more? thanks for all your help hopefully soon i will put some pics of it up on the internet.

that will tell us if you are headed in the right direction

like an intake manifold? what other manifolds are there like an exhaust manifold maybe? honestly i have no idea probably which ever one will give me the most power or both
