would it be worthwhile to re-route an a/c duct to my air filter...the air is cold, teh a/c removes some of the humidity, would it make my car run better?

I was thinking along these lines....

Rig up a miniature air conditioner to electric, and run a custom intake to the AC ducts of the electric conditioner....

    Super cold air....lots less humidity.

    ! Bingo.

you might have better results w/a window mount on the pass side & route that way. also gives you a water source in case you get thirsty or need water for radiator/washer fluid.

        what about blinker fluid?

but with the heat of summer, if you did a window mount, you'd still be getting hot and humid air...witht he a/c it'd cool it down and dehumidify it.

You will probably need at least a gallon if it blinks really fast.

we lost sight of the thread, i'm gonna drill a big ole hole for a filter to fit through my firewall, so when i've got the AC cranked, my engine gets nice cold dehumidified air.

so when it's not on, it just suks up your greasy, hot salty air? use lots of deorderant, so at least the alky fumes get put to good use
