I'm geared a little different too. Some Z28's have 2.73's dont they?
yes, average dyno for a stock LS1 IS ~300. 98's are usually on the lower end
I guess I\'d have answer your question with another question.

How many Abidiginals do you see in modeling??????

headers, 3inch magnaflow cat, Loudmouth
99 Midnight Blue Firebird
3.8L A4
I would think a true dual 2 1/2 inch is too big. Your backpressure is undoubtedly very near 0 which is great; however, your exhaust gas velocity is probably too low.
Your car would need to be in the 13's before you should be seeing victories against LS1's. Are you sure they were racing?
SLP CAI, K&N, Whisper Lid, 180* thermo, manual fan switch, 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro LSD, Wester\'s PCM Tuning, TSP Rumbler, High Flow Cat. Best Time: 9.909@71.58 (1/8 mile)

woo someone agree's with me. 2 1/2 duals are too big. quite a few V8 run them. id love to hear a sound clip, i think it would sound like crap thats just too big.

I have a movie but its like 1 minute 12 seconds long and its in quicktime format. I cant figure out how to edit it down in the format its in. I cant figure out how to change the format either. If someone can tell me what program I can use to edit it I can put it up.
Most Ls1's around here I've seen dyno get around 300 after intake and exhaust mods. In Super Chevy their LT1 dyno'ed at 260 with a few mods if I'm not correct. Last issue, check it out. Most LS1's are around 280- stock where I live.
2 1/2 may be some what over kill, but no way in hell I'm putting 2 in dia pipe or under on any car of mine.
www.ws6zxr.com Check out most of those guys dyno numbers.
