hey guardian..
thats cool, ive had mine on for about 2 weeks. a couple things you might wanna watch out for:
-my y pipe hits the trans. bellhousing, had to heat it up and bend it to get it to clear, it was rattling redally bad.
-i also put on a new 3" catco at the same time, it melted after like a week, im guessin from the extra heat from the headers.
other than that its cool, i like the way it sounds better too, not really louder, just different.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

yup,
melted the inside, goin down the highway, car started hesitating and wouldnt go when i accellerated, and idled like i had a nasty cam, after i let it cool overnight it ran but the exhaust was partially blocked, had hardly any pressure out back, and when i drove it hard exhaust was leakin in the cabin, shoulda saw the cat, looked like it was heat treated, turned rainbow colors! so i just cut it out and am rumming a straight pipe, although its a little loud for my taste now.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

Man, that sucks. Anyone else have that problem with the CIA headers? It's not bad or anything, just wondering if I should go ahead and prepare to gut the cat when I install them. Also, install a O2 sim after the cat.2000 V6 Camaro(bought brand new)

I remember someone saying that Thunder Racing had the O2 sensors, where you could buy just one. I looked on their web page but could not find them. I'm sure I probably just over looked them. Also, does anyone know if Summit carries them(I figure they probably do), and if so, does anyone know the part number. Thanks. 2000 V6 Camaro(bought brand new)

You can't use the 2-pack of o2 sims. You need to get the single after cat o2 sim, the part number is 104035 I believe.1996 Silver Camaro, Y87, M5, cammed..
N/A Best Time: 14.012 @ 98.59
195 rwhp / 233 ft-lbs b/f heads/cam
Check out my site http://silver3800.cz28.com/

mister_johnny..
i thought it was kinda odd too, but i got o2 temperature code, and rando multiple misfire, and i had exhaust leaking into the cabin from the console area, and the cat now looks like a rainbow of color, and after the night it happened, it was running fine but had low exhaust pressure, so i figure it melted then cooled into place but was partially clogged, so its off now.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc

The 2-pack I see in my Summit catalog is for Casper's Electronics o2 simulators. Part # is CEI-104033 1997-2001GM F-body;pair $88.95
The part number you have is for CEI-104035 1997-2001 Pontiac Grand Prix each $44.95
So, it looks like the F-body sims come in a pair while the Grand Prix come where you can buy just one.I'm guessing Z-28's use two??? So, I wonder if there would be any difference between the F-body ones and the Grand Prix ones, exspecially since the Grand Prix has the 3.8 engine. When I call and order them tomorrow I'll let everyone know what Summit tells me.

Well, just called Summit and ordered my o2 simm. Instead of buying the pair for $88.95 they said for the 3.8 we could use the part number CEI-104035 1997-2001 Pontiac Grand Prix each $44.95. Since the Grand Prix has the same engine as us. So I bought the Grand Prix one. Just figured that I would let everyone know. ;)2000 V6 Camaro(bought brand new)

JUST ORDER THE o2 SIM FROM ZZPERFORMANCE.COM!!
its the same one we use on our cars!
the reason why the fbody ones come in 2 packs is because i believe the 98 and up ls1's have 2 cats.. one after each header?
beats me.
but right now zzperformance has o2 sims on sale for 38 bucks96 Camaro M5.
