Well im going for a fairly intresting setup. I have pacesetter headers w/ y-pipe that are going to run thre the stock exhaust to a LS1 camaro dual muffler. Its not going to be super loud but I HATE the raspy sound and I want a really deep rumble. Just after the y-pipe and befor the stock cat im planning on putting in a turndown cutout so if I really want it loud its not a problem. Tell me what you guys think!

I think you should get the electric butterfly for it. That just seems like a fun toy. Im gonna get me one soon. -
I have that setup. CI headers, and the stock z-28 exaust. Highflow cat, a bullet muffler after cat, and the stock V8 muffler. Sound is real deep. I really like it. The pipe is almost 3" in diamiter. I didn't put a cutout on, but could always install one later. I think you will like this setup.
