I heard one once. It wasn't as loud as a flowmaster, and the idle sound wasn't as nice. As for performance, I know they have a very freeflowing muffler, and the pipes are mandrel bent, but that's about it.

Well everyone and their mothers have Flowmaster exaust. Not that there is anything wrong with Flowmaster. I just want something different. And i like Magnaflow. Does anyone have any Sound Bytes of Magnaflow?

i have a magnaflow on right now i am gonna change to a slp loudmouth. But i have been told by my friend next door that he can hear me at the top of our street if i have it around 4k rpms and our street is a little under 1/2 mile long its not as good a sound as the flowmaster but then again the flow master does not sound as good as the slp imho. If i you want a really loud exhaust get the slp. Not sure about the performance compared to the flowmaster but ya know just get what ever you think is cooler.

Oh and the magnaflow is a pita to keep clean cause it has like foot and half long tips on it and they get dirty pretty easy.

I have a magnaflow muffler.. Its GREAT!! much better the nthe edelbrock and the hoemaster IMO..

          benfits:
-little to no resonance when cruising..
-Probably some HP gain over my old edelbrock..
-screams like a MOFO over 4 grand..its not a great sound.. but.. nothing on our cars really sound all that great anyway.. IMO is as good as any of the others..
-AWSOME build quality.. edelbrock and flows can **** with the the constrution on the magnaflow.. the welds and case look indestructable!!
-cooooooool tips.. to keep them cleen jsut wipe them down with wadding polish.. that what my roomate does..

disadvanteges.. a little more expesive then the other kits..

          MAGNAFLOW ALL THE WAY!!

From what I have read and heard, Magnaflow is a damn good choice.

i have a magnaflow catback on mine and i love it...it has a nice deep growl to it in the lower rpms but higher...well higher all things on our v6's dont sound good but oh well. Anyway the magnaflow rocks and my friend with a WS6 trans am thought i had a v8 when i was at low rpms...so its up to you...but everybody has flowmaster and what not...be diff get the magnaflow IMO

it depends on what type of magnaflow muffler you are getting. The main reason our cars sound like totall 4ss up top is because the mufflers are made for high output airflow mainly from v8's. When our cars get up top the flow less the the v8s and sound ****ty for the v8 mufflers have too much flow for us. Thats why we only get a good low end sound. That is why the flowmaster and dynomax super turbo are good for our cars because they dont have a straight through design, they bend the air so we get a good sound till pretty high RPMs. or at least on my superturbo. i get up to 4500 RPM before i hear the rattly sh*tty rice sound. flowmaster i have heard rice out pretty early... but my dad has a magnaflow on his 98 SS and its real badass... but then again it is a v8.

just my 2 cents.. sorry to bother ya.

I have a soundclip under the media section of my website (see the signature). Its JUST the muffler though. I didn't buy a catback.
