Have any of you guys had a 2.5" catback before you got the 3"? If so what gains did you see with the 3" over the 2.5"?

just to update you guys on how my setup is going..

it pulls HARD AS HELL throughout the whole rpm range..

i feel NO loss in low end..and the sound is amazing..

now that i got a new fuel filter.. im able to chirp 3rd gear even.. well..barely.. but it still chirps!

i could never imagine doing that on stock ****

edit: btw. i dont have cold air intake yet either..

as soon as i get the ngk tr55's on..with new wires.. and the cold air intake.. im gonna put her up on the dyno for a few runs

LOL1 sounds like you are calling all peple with small wee-wee in..

I think 3 in. is fine, I ran my best times with a muffler off te y-pipe assloads of torque lsot but the hp made up for it, I think an entire catback 3 in. system is not overkill.

MY current 2.75 in. setup feels a little restrictive but I do have on a stock z28 muffler so it is not exactly high flow.

tyler, wait till you get that cai, it will really wake up your car. i put all of my exhaust on first w/out the cold air kit and was impressed. then i put on the induction and it seemed like it made just a big of difference as the exhaust.
