  • Throttle Body Spacers????

I think it was about a year ago or so that someone was making spacers out of Deleron I think it was. Are they still here or know of anyone that makes them still.

You know....Ive actually been thinking of this here, before I left Anchorage, but I didnt know that there was any market for them at all...

I guess that it's something that I need to look back into...

Yea, I want to say that someone with a Green Camaro that was involved in a accident was making them. Sold them for about $40 w/new bolts and two gaskets and the spacer. I heard good things about them but seems like he disappeared. I do know that the deleron isn't cheap but i figure they would sell.

        Yeah, I wanted one also.
        Nothing came of it.
I never sent any $$$$ in but I think some other members did.

I would like a throttle body spacer - I think they're an excellent idea. Too bad Xious went away, haven't seen the guy in ages.

Here's the instructions on how to make the spacer from his website:

Anyone know where to get that material, Delrin, at?

Why Delrin or any plastic for that matter? Why not use aluminum?

Probably heat transfer properties. The Delrin won't transfer heat from the intake to the TB like aluminum would.

plus delrin can take heat up to 1500 degrees unlike most plastic

So a spacer should probably accompany a TB bypass? This stuff is starting to make sense.
