    For 15
Well, it looks like I could do it for $40+$5 shipping, including 2 new gaskets.

    $45+ shipping including new bolts.

I believe the studs are M8-1.25 thread and 2 inches long. I will have to double check that though.

I need info on the 99+ models with the electronic throttle. TB gasket part number, verify stud dimensions. I know there have been a few people that have this spacer on the later models. Depending on how many have this later model, I might have to make one up, send it to someone to try and and make any modifications if necessary. Or find someone local to test fit. Depending on what info I can get.

If anyone has a TB(both types) laying around they could loan me for a short while, I'll give them a $20 disount on each one. I just want to be sure everyone gets one that fits their car perfectly.

I would like to do this all in one shot, I don't want to have to keep inventory around and the hassle of running a "business".

      I'm in for $45.

      QUESTION:

I have an SLP CAI. It looks as though a spacer would cause the intake elbow to hit the black cover over the radiator.

      Any thoughts?
      :D

Just an FYI that resulted from my continuing experiments with TB spacers ....

        The factory studs are actually M6 x 1.0 ...

I haven't yet gotten around to pulling the "oddball" bolt and checking it ... is it likely that this one is the M8 x 1.25 ?

(I'm just being a little lazy ... I am eventually gonna' have to pull the thing off and check it myself :D )

Is there still interest in these?

Not sure of the compatibility with the SLP CAI.

If you are definately commited to getting one, please post. I won't be ordering a couple hundreds dollars worth of material without firm committments.

If there isn't much interest in these, that is fine too. Just need to know whether I need to pursue this further or not.

Just curious, how soon would you make these? Denison is my home town and my little sister is coming out to Lubbock some time this summer. Maybe we could send a couple for Matt and I that way rather than shipping them. Or I probably should visit the parents some time too. I'm a little concerned with the fit with the Whisperlid though. If it still fits with one count me in.

I don't see why I couldn't make one for the 3.4L. I would have to get a little info, and maybe leave the bolts up to you. If anyone has pics of a 3.4L TB, that would help as well.

I know on shanes 98, if fit with a whisper lid.

Right now, it looks like we only have 8 or so. We need about 7 more or there is no way to keep the cost down. Once we have about 15, then I will start accepting payments. Maybe we can get a few more people by the middle of next week and I can start collecting money and ordering all the materials. Hopefully a couple of weeks after that I will be able to start shipping everyone their spacers.

As far as time, I would like to test fit a 2000+ model and a 3.4L, hopefully someone local. Then I will proceed with making the rest.
