    which is better, the slp ram air kit or the fast toys ram air kit?

    Both will give you similar gains. I believe that the FTRA is a little better quality; someone correct me if it's not...

      Yea, I put the FTRA kit on my car, great highway power. I think it also has better quality compared to a friend of mine who has the SLP.
      FTRA kit, Whisper Lid, free ram air mod, Richmond 3.73 gears, Dynomax Catback, Poly Tranny mount, Vette Wheels, Expensive Audio equipment :). HID headlight Kit, Billet Grille, Billet Antenna, Eurotails, Carsound Cat

        i noticed that in your sig. it says you have the ftra and the free ram air mod....what is the difference?

        sorry for the novice questions ...but im use to lt1's.....not familiar with ls1's or the v6 3.8

              The only reason I don't have FTRA is because I'm scared of getting water into my engine. Have you ever had trouble with it?

                </font>[/QUOTE]The free ram air mod is simply cutting out the bottom of your stock airbox. The FTRA and SSRA pipe air into that gap from under the car.
