My check engine light came up the other day, after i replaced my EGR Valve and im not sure whether it relates to that or not, but i have an error code thats coming up P0155 (O2 Heater Circut Malfunction). Is that just an O2 sensor, or something completely different?

Typically the o2 sensor will set off a code that says Malfuncion Indicator Lamp (MIL). It very well could be the EGR. The first thing I can tell you to do, is to disconnect your negative battery terminal, so that you can reset the PCM to see if the light will go away.FTRA kit, Whisper Lid, free ram air mod, Richmond 3.73 gears, Dynomax Catback, Poly Tranny mount, Vette Wheels, Expensive Audio equipment :). ya, i did that right after the alert came up and it never came back. i was just wondering if anyone knew what it was all about, because i cant find any information on it. The EGR is brand new...so i dont know what it could have done, but maybe it was just a brief malfunction.Comment
