It can be "made" to fit.. may want to talk to the shop you plan on getting it installed at first to make sure they are up too it.. they will need to adjust a few things.. like hangers ect..

technically yes, you can. the piping is made the same, the hangers however are in different locations. there are 4, the two origonal hangers and the two new additional ones that come with the kit. i think that if you make absolutely shur that the pipe clamps are tight as hell, you can get away with not using the 2 new additional ones. i have a feeling that either the new ones or the old ones wont fit. im not shur which however.

I am getting this system... now whats with the 4 hangers? I have an extra hanger so can I just sorta mount it myself?

Anyways right now I have the rumbler and there are only the 2 hangers in the rear. I supposed the magnaflow is in the same spot as those 2... the other i dont know yet.

I am going to weld mine up when i get it.

get the LT1 system, not the LS1. fits perfect, no alterations necessary. well, shouldnt say that... the back hanger on the passenger side is in the correct location, but its a strap style. I just bolted a flat piece of metal bent into an "L" shape to the hanger on the exhaust and slide that through the rubber hanger on my car.... have to re-shap it a little, it rattles against the hanger a bit as it is now.
