  • Catco SES

Is it common to still get an SES even running a catco? Should I go with an O2 sim even though Im going to run a catco? Should I just get a better cat than a catco to begin with like a magnaflow?

    O2 sim + Catco = $90
    Magnaflow Cat = $90

    Dominic-

I had a Catco On for like 4 months then I started gettting the SES light for "cat infficiency"... I was going to replace the O2 sensor (would have been the 3rd time), but opted for the o2 Sim instead. I'd say get the Catco and the O2 sim becuase this will avoid getting the SES light. Even with the Magnaflo, you might get a SES light down the road. Plus you can always sell off the sim if you don't need it anymore.

Carsound/Magnaflow Cats can be bought from Jegs or Big Exhaust

I have a 2.5" Cat on my car now, when I do Full Exhaust, I'll replace it with a 3" one and sell the 2.5".

Hey Dominic, my friend has instructions on how to build your own O2 Sim it's like maybe $15-20, I'll get the instructions to you, and it does work. He has it in his Civic, and my friend with a Grand Prix has one he built.
