SLP Loud Mouth for LS1, will it fit my 3.8?

I'm looking into some decent priced but loud exhausts and the Loud Mouth seems like just the system for me. I've seen clips of it on a V6 and it sounds hardcore, almost like a V8 actually. What I'm wondering is how much work does it take to fit it onto a 3.8L Firebird with the stock dual exhaust and ground effects package?

Oh, and how will it sound after I get headers, y-pipe and a high flow cat? I heard on the LS1s it sounds horribly loud with their headers installed so most people have to buy some other catback once they get their headers. Just wondering if the V6 will be the same.

It's loud but not unbearably loud. I have it with everything else being stock for now and it sound sgood. To install it though you need to get an "s" pipe if you buy it from an ls1. And it does sound a lot like a V8 at idle and low rmps but when all is said and done, nothing sounds like a V8 unless it is another V8. But ppl do walk up and say "hey I though RS meant it was a 6." I just smile and reply, "It is a 6." Then I drive off.

It's loud, but I also have a highflow cat, and that changed the sound too. People always come up and ask me "so did you just gradually change your car to a trans am or what?" I just laugh and go "Nope, it's still a v6" Sometimes they don't believe me till I pop my hood for them ;) Beware, it buzzes at high RPMS

i just got my loudmouth put on today and the installers said the s pipe wouldnt work with my current exhaust. i was pretty pissed that they didnt need it, but i love the way it sounds right now. only bad thing i have experienced is that the distance between to the bumper and the pipes are different on either side. i asked the guy that was installing it and he said that the pipes wouldnt go any farther up. sorry if this doesnt make sense. ill try and get some pics up soon.

their full of shyt, u got jipped, they jut didn't want to touch ur cat. now u have a 2.25" s pipe when u could have had a 3".

James (12secV6) has headers, highflow cat, with a loudmouth exhaust on his car. I have heard it in person and yes it is pretty loud. At idle on a cold start it rumbles the ground. Onced it is warmed up it is a tamed loud, sounds beastly down low but once above 3500rpms it sounds like a twin engine air plane. If you want all out loud than the loudmouth is the exhaust for you. If you want more of a deep tone with a tamer sound then i would suggest flowmaster.
