97s dont have lids. So dont get a lid. Get the SLP Cold air intake or something similar. I dont know of any other options when its a 97.2003 Chrome Silver Nissan 350z 6 Speed

2001 Bright Rally Red Camaro 3800 M5-----SOLD but missed

K&N and SLP both make cold air kits for 97s. There are also a few other options, but I can't specifically think of them right now. Try looking around on some sponsor's websites and in the for sale section for used ones as they a pretty expensive new and nothing can wear out except the filters which can be cleaned or replaced.
I have the SLP kit and if seems to be good quality and fit. Some people say the install is a pain, but it really isn't bad.

K&N overcharge for all there kits, I would stick with SLP. I cut the whole bigger where the filters slide in so i can jsut take them in and out with no trouble at all.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....
