exhaust setup sound good?

i think i'm goin with a 2.5" I pipe, flowmaster 80 series, 2.5's out to 3" duals...these http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...f31406HKR.html
the guy thats gonna install it says that he cant get 3" i pipes for my car... he said there wouldn't be hardly any difference b/t the two, and there will be more room to work on it. do you think these tips will improve the sound any? how about some pics of cars with similar tips...that would be sweet! what do yall think of this setup...any improvements?

ALSO... if i get the tips w/ resonators do you think it will help the raspiness at all?? is it worth the extra $$?

What year is your car? If its the 98-02 Camaro or Firebird, get the 2.5 Flowmaster catback for the 3.8. I got it off Summit racing. It has a resonator on the I pipe to eliminate some raspiness and it comes with 3 inch chrome tips that look great. If you really want to get rid of the raspiness, take the cat off (if you are in a state without emissions) and put on the dynomax bullet muffler. I have that setup and the RS sounds great.
