I was looking at the car the other day and got to thinking.... Air comes in through the two "nostrils" at the front of the car, from there it's a crapshoot as to how much air will make it to the intake. I've been mulling over the idea of fabricating a tube that runs from the front to the airbox. This way I'm ensured that the max amount of air possible will make it into the engine.
Can anyone see a problem with this? I know that you want air circulating around the engine, but I don't think this is taking away a whole lot.
Thanks.

Dammit, my bad, I realized that I was looking right at the top of the windshield washer reservoir.... I guess it's good to keep that cool. ;)
Ok, let me rephrase. If I cut holes in the nostril, is it a good idea to proceed with the idea above?
