YOu are saving money by doing it yourself...treat yourself right...if possible....get a sawzall and a 6" metal cuting blade. Like butter.

(don't forget thread cutting oil)

YOu can get the heavy duty clamps at napa as well. $4 for 3" clamp. Very heavy duty...reinforced welded collars on the clamp portion of u bolt. This inhibits 'spreading' of the pressed steel bracket. Very nice...worth the time to find and buy.

Yep, the cat will slip right over. Just cut the old cat as close to the weld line as possible to leave as much material as possible on the stock Y pipe and S pipe.

OK Update:

Just ordered the cat, a Carsound Magnaflow High-Flow Catalytic Converter 3" HF FS for 59.95 free shipping off of Ebay.

Should be getting the SLP LM Next week and installing sometime next weekend, Ill keep u all posted.

PS. Anyone who lives in Houston have a Sawzall wanna let me borrow ? :D
