        Thanks but what I actually said was it is the 2.5" catback that I think sounds better than the 3" catback. I'm sure that is mostly because of the resonator they used, not because 2.5" pipe itself is superior.

                I have no interest in changing your mind. I am interested in helping the original poster with his question. Instead of a rookie, I think you are a clown.

                As to the car comment, I don't find it necessary to comment about the best exhaust configuration for a Cavalier given that I never owned one. You may or may not have driven an Fbody, but your blanket statement that that "3 inch owns" does not indicate anything other than an opinion on your part. The fact that you are arguing with my post indicates that you lack reading comprehension.

                  2.5" is the better diameter from an engineering view.

                    Go with 3 in.....i had 2.5 before my headers with my borlas and i didnt like the sound.....when i went with the 3 in it sounded a lot deeper
