I would go with perfomance over sound. i have the magnaflow cat-back and i like it alot. and the sound is nice too at least in my opinion. also u get better performence gains over the flowmaster.

well B&B has dyno tested theres and gained something like 14RWHP or something like that. but i believe any 3" mandrel bent cat back will work the same. its just pipe. and any "performance" muffler is going to flow almost the same.\'96 Quasar Blue Firebird A4
jamiethekiller@comcast.net
my band: woodland

there has to be a difference btw the different systems, you can tell me there is no difference btw a flowmaster and a borla.. what im looking for is performance, not sound because when it comes down to it there is still a 3.8 v6 under my hood and im more interested in the performance because its only a v6 so whats the sound going to to for me with out the balls to back it up.

I am not to impressed with the sound of my Borla exhaust, but the HP gains were decent for a 3.8L, it really whines at high RPM's. And when its hot outside it makes a funny noise, which I believe is the heat shield on the cat.Chris Reedy
1999 Camaro Black w/ Silver Stripes, M5. No matter what anyone says, for the most part all catbacks flow the same. I would go with sound for this reason only.1996 Camaro RS Bright Red
3.8L V6 A4 3.42\'s
K&N Filtercharger
Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler
Y87 Performance Package

i'm going to re-iterate again. the only parts of the exhaust that can inhibit flow. pipe size. catalytic converter. mandrel bent pipe. the muffler. now. once you decide to which size pipe you want, it'll come to muffler since all catbacks are mandrel bent. almost every "peformance" muffler is going to flow almost the same. especially since our cars don't put out a ton of horsepower. your choice for hi flow cat or not.\'96 Quasar Blue Firebird A4
jamiethekiller@comcast.net
my band: woodland
