    I entered this a few months back. Enter "seafoam" in the search category, and you'll have reading material for weeks.

    ================================================
    Seafoam is a cleaner goes into the throttle body through the vacuum line, and it cleans out the carbon inside the intake/engine and cat converter that builds up within time. The 3.8 engines have a vacuum line on the throttle body right in front of the IAC Sensor on the passenger side of the engine. Start the car, remove the vac line and pour about 1/2 of a can of seafoam into the throttle body section (the vacuum will suck the seafoam in). The car will then stall, and let the seafoam do it's stuff for about 5 minutes without the engine running. After the 5 minutes pass, start the car up and it'll smoke like hell for quite a few minutes...TRUST ME!
    I felt a big difference in my throttle response after I did this, as most people do.
    I do not have a 3.4, but I think you would pour the seafoam in through the brake booster vac line behind the master cylinder.
    You shouldn't have any trouble with any computer sensors. The instructions on the bottle say it's oxygen sensor safe too.

      The vacuum line is down and to the left of the 3800 on the throttle body. Its got a 90 degree boot on it. Just start your car up, pop the line, start pouring til the car stalls or you've poured about 75% of the can in, then shut her down, wait 5-10 minutes and start it up and watch the smoke. I got a SES light when I did mine, but Autozone fixes that. ;)

        I used the brake booster line. If you don't know where that is, do a search and you'll find a bunch of stuff about it.

          actually mine stalled a few times when i put seaform in through my brake booster line. Just make sure you use half of the seafoam in the bottle.
