  • CIA headers, Carsound Cat installed!

I finally have a full 3" exhaust, and all I can say is WOW!

Yes, my car shakes the bowels of hell and can out drone any other car. It still sounds damned good to me.

I know crows_camaro wanted to know the performance gain from this, and the answer is still WOW. I didn't expect to be able to feel a big difference, but I really do. My stock exhaust manifolds were leaking, so that might be the reason I feel such a difference with these new headers. Even though they're CIA headers, I had to order Pacesetter gaskets because CIA would've taken over two weeks + shipping time to get me their gaskets.

The temperature in the engine bay also roughly seems to be about 5 degrees lower than when I had the stock exhaust manifold on there.

So, in summary - CIA headers, a 3" carsound, and a loudmouth will make your car louder than most jet aircraft. However, I felt an awesome performance gain and lower temperatures.

    :D :D :D :D

Did you use an O2 sim with the rear o2? I picked up a carsound cat and am pondering if I need a sim or not.

Didn't use a sim. I'm getting close to the point where I have to tighten the header bolts up again, still haven't thrown any codes.

my exhaust work I get done at muffler tech, just like topher said.

I had my headers installed at force fed performance ;) but good luck getting them to work on another 6
