• Got Chambered???

Buy nothing else.
GMMG is the way to go.
A bit louder on the inside than stock. Outside is f'in awesome. You can still tell it's a six, but not by far. It's a cross between a well tuned exotic and a musclecar. Sounds great up high, same as my Spintech was. If you have a chance to get one, TAKE IT!!! I traded straight up for the Loudmouth, talk about one in a million. I'll try to get a video up before i get the headers on the car. It should be a whole new animal with those CIA's!!!

U bastard! I've been wanting GMMG got the longest time, that stuff kicks some major a$$!! I just can't afford the $700 for it brand new. Eventually if I end up trading in my car for a Z28/SS, which I'm considering, I'll definitely invest in the GMMG for it. Can't wait to hear it on a V6 though.

ive heard the GMMG on the LS1's and it sounds WAY WAY better than any other exhaust, i love the way it sounds! it just cost a little much...but..if i had an LS1,i would either have the GMMG, or an X-pipe w/dynomax bullets(ill here this setup real soon)

I agree...I've heard an SS with this on and let's say when he revved the first time I almost $h!t myself. It scared the crap out of me. Definately hook us up with an audio clip of this. I wanna hear

I have seen pictures and have heard the GMMG exhaust, but what exactly is a chambered muffler? Is it simply a couple of larger diameter pipes or is there some interior baffling? Could you make a similar system with a couple of glasspacks?

You can make a ghetto GMMG system if you buy stuff from here....

www.sweet-thunder.com

They sell all sizes/lengths of chambered mufflers, and you can just copy the design off of the GMMG website. www.gmmginc.net

I almost did this w/ the Loudmouth, it would have been perfect, but i was fed up with it.

GMMG rocks! :D

Grats on the new exhuast Scott. If your ever up north around D/Fw i wanna hear that thing. Thanks for the link to ST exhuast too. When i get my C5, i think i'm going w/ their chambered cat-back, plus it will be cheaper than the B&B i would of bought.

Honestly...you just described what my Loudmouth sounds like. Man, I'm honestly confused now...LOL!

Make sure to get some audio clips!

Yeah, Rich, i'm still bewildered by the Loudmouth on mine. It mellowed out a lot with that Carsound cat on there, but still.....just unbearable!

Video will come as soon as i can steal a camcorder from someone. Don't worry guys, i won't leave you hangin!

Sorry to hear about that loud mouth, even more so because I have your spintech. But I have seen those chambered exhausts before in either a Jegs or Summit cataloge advertising them as the mufflers from the glory years. I almost bought them for my impala but thought they would be too loud. On a side note. If any one is building up an engine for an older car and wants a cheap muffler, don't get the purple hornies. Holy S**t they are loud! I can't drive in my hick town after 9 at night!.....cop said so.
