i have been reading back and forth on the forums about this free whisper mod. how do you do it?? i know it involves either a pvc pipe or dryer duct. which is it?? mine is the straight throttle body. i also did the free ram air and
!MAF mod. could somebody please provide instructions or insight?? i searched but to no avail. thanks!
Your probably thinking of shaving the plastic air baffles off the lid, and replacing the air silencer with a straight piece of PVC. It may work ok, but I think its worth buying the whisper lid for the non-ghetto look, and the hassle.
huh....mine dont look ghetto whatsoever, painted airbox, painted the PVC....actually like the look of the painted PVC, cehck my sig if you wanna see it ;)
You can use the deleted air silencer mod and whisper lid together, it doesn't have to be one or the other. I used dryer hose in place of my silencer: ghetto, huh? :D
