  • Will any CAI work with my hood?

I have the SLP RAM-AIR hood for my car and I am finally in the market for a cold-air intake. Will I run into any problems with the SLP cold-air intake? I was looking to get a whisper lid and the SLP intake but I am hearing it won't work with a ram-air hood? Is this the case? Thanks.

The whisper lid does'nt extend that much higher than the stock air lid, and the SLP CAI extends below the airbox so clearance to the hood really should'nt be an issue.

You should think about the Supersucker. It actually has a scoop mounted under the front bumper to scoop up air. It will fit with no problem on your car. I saw one for sale on LS1Tech in the classified section for $150. That's a great price.
