Probably a dumb question but what is a whisper lid? I just bought a 95 3.4 Camaro with 38,000 as my first car and don't know much.

38,000 miles on a '95..............damn good find brother. I'm not sure how the 3.4's are set up, but the whisper lid is what's over your air filter and guilds the air into your throttle body. The whisper lid is larger and less restrictive than your normal lid. Hence more air... more power. -
Whisper lids are for 98+ camaro/firebirds
You will need to get a cold air intake kit with cone filter.
