  • Another Pacesetter install question

Ok I got some more time today and did the plugs and wires. The drivers side was easy, and wires are ok. The passengers side is a different story. For starter, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a sparkplug socket on the middle plug and torque it down. Also, Im using some wires I bought not to long ago. The coil end is a 90degree boot, but the other end is a straight boot with stock metal heatshield. Well on the first cylinder its fine, the middle no way in hell that straight boot is gonna work, and the furthest back cylinder, its touching the header a little (the boot is). What can I do? I think I need some 90 degree wires, but only two of them. What did everyone else do?

I used 90's on both ends for all 6 wires when I did my headers. I used Taylor Spiral-Pro 8mm and I'm very happy with them.

I'm pretty sure the directions that come with the headers recommend going with 90's all the way around.
