Yeah, it will jump around at idle and then give a good reading at WOT.

The problem with idle is because the exhaust gasses are going slow so they cool down before they get too far down the pipe. The stock O2s are very close so they have no problem.

Unless the WB02 is in one of the stock O2 bungs, you can not trust its reading at idle. Mine is just before the cat (or at least where the cat was) and it gives false readings at idle. As soon as you get the RMPs up a little, it reads fine.

If you are at 2000 rpms and the problem is still there, its not the sensor location.

They make block off plates. One for the exhaust and one for the intake. They are $5 each at ZZP. Might be beter then welding and mine have not leaked yet.

I have Pacesetters and used some high temp sealer with the block off plates and no leaks. I just hate to weld something and then a month later things change and you are stuck. I know if I welded them that is exactly what would happen. However, I'm just lucky like that. If you do want the plates, do not just order them off the net. They only list the one type and you want one of each. Make sure you call them. Good luck.
