Does anyone know where I could buy this? Has anyone tried it? Is it good or should I just go with the SLP ram air intake?

I'm happy with my SLP ram air. I heard that you can use the SLP and K&N intake together to gain a lot oh HP

If I had an aftermarket ram air hood, I'd get it

The K&N will basically replace the airbox, therefore
putting the SLP right under the K&N. I hope you get the picture.

its not a hood, bubba. the slp intake goes under the hood and sucks air from the grille, thus moving into the K&N and giving you.. 6 for the k&n and lets say, 6-10 for the slp?

                    pretty good combo.

I have one of the k&n intakes. Part # 63-1084 It is similar to that one, but for some reason is not street legal because it is not CARB approved. No emissions checks around here so I got it. Put it on. I was impressed. It comes with a pretty nice metal heat shield. It sounds like a cold air intake. I am happy with it.

i have the set up your refering to. i have the k&n FIPK with the slp cold air induction. it is a GREAT combination. noticed alot of gains thru each mod. i did the k&n first, noticed much improvement, then had the slp cai put on, and it worked even better. the slp cai is cut right underneath where the k&n sits...so its perfect placement..the cold air is forced right into the filter. cut right into the heat shield that is supplied with the k&n kit to mount the slp kit, never had one problem with that set up. highly reccomended.
