I got fel-pros on right now, and yea im sure they are causing the leak i have, so i bought the pacesetter ones, but for the install is there anything special i need to do. Like is there anything that i have put on the gaskets to install them other than just put them in place and tighten the bolts?

I've used 2 sets of paper gaskets (one for inital install, and 1 during heads/cam swap) and I didn't do anything special to them. Open the package and install them.Matt

pathogen coverd my pacesetter gaskets in petroleum jelly (vaseline). They have absolutly no problems, so I'd do that again. I forget what she said about it, cuz I thought it was strange, but there really is a good reasoning as to why she put it on them.

I just put mine on without doing anything to them. No problems here. Had them on for about 4000 miles, no leaks yet.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap
