mine is 96 camaro rs conv. I don't care about sound. but as you can see budget is tight too. i want the most hp for the buck.

Out of those, Edelbrock, Only because its 3'' tho. I would go with a 3'' flow, LM or a rumbler.

yeesh, do NOT get the flowmaster, sure it rumbles pretty cool at idle, but it sounds like a civic up in the high side of the RPM band.

ok, cool. flowmaster out of the game. i don't know why, flowmasters are in more vehicles than any other catback but everyone hates it???now, between edelbrok and magnaflow which one? pinoyracer, is the "tsp" less than $350?if yes, what their website address?

You need to hear the exhaust for yourself and decide which one is for you. One mans "civic exhaust" may sound great to you. Soundclips will help but, still nothing is like in person.

the TSP is like $200 WITHOUT tips. To me $200 is a great price for an exhaust. I would recomend to buy the kit witout tips cause you can always buy tips from a local shop for a cheaper price. As for the Flowmaster and the whole civic thing. It really doesnt sound like a civic. it just sounds raspy at rpms higher than 3000. but this doesnt really bother me because all exhausts on v6s sound that way. I happen to like my flowmaster very much. if you want to try to dull down the rasp, but headers and a cat aslo.

since it's my commuter car i care about reliability and to be legal.in nj emmision is so strict. so, i don't know about changing cat. if i am told that certain hiflow cat will work without a ses light, i would defenately buy it. headers i will change but later on. now, i heard that some of them leaks so, it's a reliability issue. i would get the rumbler kit with tips because it's pretty cheap($274). but, it doesn't say how many inches or which engine model (3.8 or 5.7)?more info pinoyracer (if possible) also, anyone has any comment on edelbrok ($283 +free ship)? rumble and edelbrok they both at same price level. but so far i had two vote for rumbler.

Where in NJ are you? I have a Magnaflow 3" cat and magnaflow 3" catback, as long as your oxygen sensors are there you're fine.

I love the Edelbrock catback. You'll definately notice that the sound is deeper, but really only slightly louder than stock, which I think is perfect because I want my car sounding good with out being obnoxious. Also, as far as performance goes, with no other mod on my car before and after at the track, I dropped 3 tenths with just the catback. And mind you that's the 2.5" catback, so I'm not sure what you're gains will be like with a 3".

"I want my car sounding good with out being obnoxious." that's absolutely what i want too.so, far i have 2 for tsp rumbler and one for edelbrok. but i am starting to lean toward edelbrok because they have been in the market for long time. also, i saw in one website it offer + 10-15 hp/26 lb of torque. i am still open to hear about tsp rumbler too since they are so close in pricing. so, give me some suggestions.

Hahaha, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Maybe with a full exhaust and some other things but, not from just a catback. Well if you are adding the tsp rumbler to the list, I'm going with that. You never said anything about that origanlly.
