Would 2.5in pipes all around be a good setup? 2.5 pipes, cat, cutout?

yeah, it's good. u'll see some good gains from it. i'd just get 3" piping, cat., and no cutout, but that's just me. if ur not gonna go all out on the motor, the 2.5" piping will do fine.

I talked to my muffler guy, he said 3in doesn't fit under our cars. It rattles around ALOT. Is this true??

Don't know, but I had a problem with getting bigger piping because the 02 sensor is in the pipes, for ('96 and above I THINK) they didn't want to replace the pipes because they would have to mess with the 02 sensor.

Three inch pipes will fit without rattling around. You can squeez a 4" pipe in there too. If you a catback you don't need to mess with the o2 sensors they are on the y-pipe not the intermediate pipe.

Hmmm arrite, do you think the 2.5 pipes/cat would sound a little deeper?
