My Camaro V-6 has a K&N filter in combination with the tornado fuel saver and that makes a lot of diference. Actually I don't know how many horsepower produce my candy apple. Now I am thinking to replace the airbox for an air lid and the wide pipe that goes to the throtle body.
With all this modifications, DO I REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THE COMPUTER to program more air intake?

umm not to be an *** or anything but just telling you the truth because ive asked same question.. but you wont notice any HP gain from the K&N and the tornado you prolly want to just take that out and go return it or try to get some money back and sell it on ebay. Cuz all i hear about those tornado's is its like finding a rock the size of your fist and jamming it into your intake. So to answer your question about the computer.. no you wont need to program it.

If you find how how many horsepower your candy apple produce, let me know. Because I'm genuinely interested.

No you don't need to program your computer for those mods. The K&N by itself isn't going to give you any horsepower gains (ok maybe 1 if you are lucky). However, it is nice to have in concert with a cold air induction and an air lid. Any gains you did get with the K&N are being more than wiped out with that Tornado crap. The Tornado is a gimmick, I really can't believe people fall for that thing. Get rid of it since it is robbing you of horsepower. It is clogging up your intake.
You can get a performance tune for your car but none of those mods you plan require it. A stock car gains about 10-12 hp with just a performance tune.
If you add a cold air induction you can reset the PCM and it will take advantage of the increased air on its own.
Your commentaries are some harsh guys. It looks like you were some upset to know that the Tornado makes an increase in the performance of my car. It is true that I feel a difference. However your commentaries are valuable to me. If the Tornado will harm my intake it would be good idea to take it out. Thank you for your suggestions. Bless you!

I am glad your SOTP dyno (Seat Of The Pants) is so accurate.
How about you get some track times or dyno numbers.
The tornado is a gimmick and nothing more. Please explain to me how putting a big chunk of metal in your intake could possibly give you more horsepower? Oh yeah, thats right, it is a vortex of air....whatever.

If you see my last message I was not trying to convince somebody. Moreover I have less knowledge of this than some of you. For this reason I can't answer your question why the Tornado makes more hp. The only thing I know is that I bought new my candyapple and after 50,000 miles I installed the Tornado and the K&N filter and I saw the difference. When I push down the accelerator gentle I feel more power and the car runs more smooth than before.
Have you tried the Tornado before?
Do you know in what kind of places I can dyno test my car? I have been very busy, when I have time I'll do it.

My ex always told me to get a Tornado on mine (he thinks its the greatest thing since sliced bread). I dont want it and besides I have an SLP CAI wih K&N Filter. I like the SLP CAI very much.
Isnt the tornado supposed to *funnel* the air or something?
