• Flo-17199, 2.5" or 3" Tailpipes?

On the flowmaster website, their application guide shows it's a 3" in, 2.5" out system. But on their kit diagram, it shows it has 3" tailpipes. Someone that has part # 17199 on their car, please give me some info. I'm considering making the switch to 3" tailpipes.

Well I dont know exactly which one part # 17199 is but I got the Flowmaster w/ the 3" tailpipes and it looks pretty cool. It makes the car look meaner. One thing I did notice is that when I had the stock exhaust everyone wanted to race me, and now w/ those pipes I dont have too many challengers.

Most likely, you have part #17199 on your car since it's a 99. Stefan has part #17199 on his ride, but it looks like he have 2.5" tailpipes with 3"+ tips, but I'm not too sure.

The tips and tailpipes are all one big pipe for each side correct?

Yes, the tips are welded on 3inch tailpipes.

                That's a 3" system with 2.5" tailpipes though.
