  • Car sound cat from ftpp.net

I am about to order pacesetter headers and a car sound high flow cat from full throttle performance. The website says the inlet and outlet are oval, will this bolt right up with my loudmouth and pacesetters? Also, will the car throw any codes with the aftermarket cat. If it does not throw codes or anything, should I get the cat with or without A.I.R tube and there was also something about an O2 boss?

you will need a simulator for your car sensor. the only ones that work are the simulators from caspers electronics

without the AIR. look up in the sticky about the sims, you should find the link there for the simulator. and the sim doesnt go on your cat. it hooks up the the sensor connection in place of your sensor

Get the one with no AIR, one O2 Boss (for front O2 sensor). The inlets and outlets are round, but the catalytic converter is oval.

Sounds like either 94136 or 94139 would be what you need depending on what size inlet/outlet you need.

I am fixing to order a carsound cat. I would recommend not getting oval if you can help it. Just give FTTP.net a call, they will be glad to talk to you about it. I have delt and purchased some things from them, they have very good customer service. I would just get a 3" cat, same as me. Good luck, ;)

magnaflow recommends using p/n 935XX for our cars. I installed a 94039 and I got codes right away.

The 935xx series is longer than the 940xx and 910xx...do they know for sure that they will fit?

I accidently installed a 94039 and had a few extra inches left behind it to play with.
