Im sure this has been talked about before, but an exhaust cutout on a v6..what does it tend to sound like? not to good...? Just stick with my magnaflow muffler that i have? Wondering if anybody has done the cutout and maybe has a sound clip

I know a guy with one on his 2000 camaro and it sounds bad *** I am going to order one next week. I saw some guy with a V8 that had a cutout and he could open and close it from inside the car does anyone know were to get one of those and is it eazy to run the cable or wires for the cut out?40th Ann GTp 4door -
IVe got the electric cut out on my 6- just do a search for like Mccord or something like that ( electric cutout ) and firebird / camaro - we are some of the only cars still doing this. To me the electric is the way to go, since theres a flap on it it straitens out the gases as they leave the pipe and to me sounds much better than just a wide open cut out.97 Special Edition Bird , Short bus stlye specialComment

I've got a regular cutout that opens manually. Down low it sounds gurgly, deep, and loud.
