Hi guys newbie here, can I get a vote on which muffler to buy for my bird?
Also what is this "cut out" I keep seeing on here? What is that?

A cutout is where non of the exhaust will be running through the muffler

What he said. And people usually put it before the muffler and it lets out("dumps")all the exhaust gas out wherever u place the cutout.

Is this something you buy? I still dont understand what it is doing. Is it a valve or are you actually cutting the exhaust? What is the gain in doing this?

Summit Racing sells them for around 30buck. It is like a Y-pipe that you have installed in route in your exhaust pipe. When the cap is closed it flows through the rest off the exhaust system but when it is open it goes out the open end.
