I was wondering. When you purchase a new flowmaster 80 series muffler for a 94 3.4L V-6, do you just buy one muffler or do you buy two of them? Also, do you take off your catalytic converter or leave it on? Any help on this would be great. I'm really looking for help with it.

You only need a single Flowmaster 80 Series on a V6, and if your getting JUST the muffler you won't even touch the cat converter!
If you are getting a full catback you may want to add a high flow cat at that point! -
I am just going to be purchasing the muffler itself. I am having a mechanic custom make the rest of the piping for me so it will be cheaper. Anyone know how much horsepower this will end up giving me?Comment

Get a new intake and you will see a difference. If you are just getting a muffler, you wont see much. I put a SLP CAI and a 80 series on my 97 Camaro and noticed a small difference, with that my 1/4 mile time went from 15.3 to 14.9.
