Are 3.8 headers universal?

Ive been searching but not really finding. ( to many people with new cars I guess ) I was lookin into getting some CIA headrs, but Ive got a 97- are Rksports my only choice or is it just a mistake that they post them as 1998 and up headers.

Found a post once that said the CIAs wouldn't fit because of the A/C .. then saw another that said the problem is only some lines that can be guided / infleunced (BENT) away from the trouble spot. I have tubulars that I hope to install using the "encouragement" method on my 97.

I got an Email from CIA saying that there are a couple of AC lines in the way for the previous models but it can definitly be done.

Has anyone gotten them to fit on a pre-99? I had a pair but saw it was way too much trouble and sold them. I think DrSquirts tried also, but gave up.
