Basically, anyone know if this is possible? i just want to make it come out on one side, because i hear that a "true dual" exhaust on our cars is a lot of work, and perhaps not worth it. I think I'm just dreaming again, but I'd love to have something that custom.

It would have to be really really custom because i wanted to do the same thing but the muffler fits to far bach so it would be real dificult. But if there is a will theres a way so i think it would be sweet if you got it done. Besides i am going to try to put a turbo on my car and thats really not supposed to be able to be done either. Good Luck!TopDeadCenter Motorsports.

This, along with "true duals" has been discussed many times and is expensive to do and will leave you with a very low hanging exhaust. Search for it and you'll find out my woes with both ideas as well as those of every other person who wants something different.

It's possible but you'll ding up your exhaust alot like the earlier post sence it is really low hanging exhaust and even possibly cutting off flow...pretty bad idea. Go with a nice catback and keep the power! 2000 Y87 Bird M5 with mods
http://www.vzavenue.net/~ngeorg/

quick probably illegal thought!
replace your cat with a muffler smaller one preferabley and gor from there only thing is it woudl probably only be able to go out of one side and not both. its a possability i think but definantly needs some refinement.no fate but what we make
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748167/1

from an old post:

i saw a guy online who had done it on his bird. looked pretty sweet. the tip exits were right in front of the back tires under the door. i was just wonderin if anyone on here has done it, i think it would be a pretty sweet mod

I was always wondering how side-pipes would look on a 93+ f-bod. Not the big gaulky chrome kind you see on older classic cars, but something like the Viper has, painted to match the car. I think it would look sweet. Totally custom...of course.

I have a flowtech cutout (with quick time electric butterfly) right now...and when I put it on, just before the cat, to keep exhaust out of the inside of the car, I'm putting on a small peice of pipe from the cutout to right in front of the rear wheel under the door too. This way the exhaust is expelled from the car, and not just dumped right underneath where I'm sitting. I have the flowtech cutout with butterfly, so the standard exhaust isn't blocked off...but since exhaust finds the path of least resistance it would all be sucked out the cutout...but do you think with a two foot extension after the cutout would exhaust still go out the open butterfly instead of through the cat and muffler???7\"TV, DVD player, WW ground effects
2800 stall, aluminum DS, NX wet kit
15.39 (G-tech) stock w/3.42 LSD

Well since it was pointed out that the muffler sits towards the rear of the car, i was thinking...maybe instead of the last pipe coming out of the side of the muffler then head toward the back of the car, can i have it just come straight out of the side of the muffler like a truck? this would mean it would kind of be a side exit exhaust, but it would be behind the driver's side rear wheel i think. also, this would eliminate at least one bend in the exhaust system, therefore improving performance????? dumb theory????V-SEX!

intake/exhaust ;)
plenty appearence

Within my grasp: 14\'s :)
