I think you damaged the sensor. See I was going to remove it but I figured why if I might mess something up (I usually am the unlucky one who fuggs things up). Wait for someone with a little bit more knowledge in this department before you take my advice.

Are you trying to say you didn't notice a difference with it in and out? That's not unusual. I'm going to guess you still have your stock intake along with the air silencer still in there. Having the SLP cai I noticed a nice added gurgle in the intake, but IMO it wasn't worth the rough idle.

I also took out the silencer but that was before and has always had a gurgle. is that all it was going to do?

rough idle also, but I guess it could give the exhaust a somewhat loopy sound.

Ruined the sensor, lol. You guys are funny!!! You can't damage anything by taking it out, nothing hard about it just a ring and a screen. Everyone acts like it's taboo or something. Anyway I drove w/o mine in for a while for intake purposes. It might of been with a combination of new plugs/wires and a TB cleaning but it felt just a tad better to me w/ it off. Like everyone else said before the rough idle started getting to me, and for the very little it was doing for me it wasn't worth the rough idle.
