  • Pics of Rumbler Clearance

Several people have been concerned about low clearance with the Rumbler. I have taken pictures of the underneath of my car to show that I have no clearance problems.

I finally got around to asking the guy who installed it for me how he got it so high because other people were complaing about clearance issues. He told me he cut a couple of inches off of the over-axle pipe as it is on its way over the axle. This allowed him to pull the rest of the exhaust closer to the bottom of the car. If someone want to know exactly how much he cut off I could ask him.

Sorry about the quality of pics the flash on the digital camera I was using didn't work. However, you can still see the clearance I have:

This pic of the billet muffler shows that it tilts at a downward angle. The front part is next to the bottom of the car and it tilts slightly downward.

Ahh, yeah, I think I have read that in the FI forumn.

That would suck...wouldn't be much clearance at all.

Mine was pretty low when I had it... I just got my magnaflow adjusted and they did the same thing which brought it up more (it wasnt scraping at all).

Yep, folks. That's the way a 3" catback looks/fits when properly adjusted!
