  • Exhaust buzzing noise

For a while, my exhaust has been making a buzzing noise when coming from a stop at a moderate-slow speed. It was annoying, but I found that I could get around the problem if I just got on the gas a little more coming from a stop ;) . Lately (in the past month or so), the noise has started to spread through the RPM band where I can hear it.

Would tightening the clamps help to get rid of this noise? Would getting the pipes welded together fix this? I can't try either theory now (I'm an idiot and left my ratchets at home and I don't have any tools here at school with me or have access to a welder).

I'm getting a QTEC and can try tightening the clamps when I install it, but is there anything else it could be?

The sound's coming from behind the driver's seat. I don't know how far back (it's hard to figure it out while I'm driving through downtown), but I know it's behind me. I just want it to stop making that noise. For some reason everytime I drive by some girl in a parking lot/garage it seems to get a little louder :( .
