  • Blowby into intake...

I'm not sure if this is general or advanced, but i will post it here first and if it has to be moved so be it, i've been recently noticing problems with my car having hesitation and all in all not running well, now here is what i've noticed, i pulled my intake off completely down to the throttle body and i've noticed that the throttle body has a thin coating of oil on the inside of it, and is a nasty black color and not the shiny silver it should be, it looks like im getting some serious blowby on my intake, does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this? any help would be much appreciated
    Jhonathan

***also to add, i've had a problem with it dying as im coasting to a stop at intersections lately, any ideas on why it would do this?

if it's really bad, try changing your PCV valve. they're like $1.50 or so.

there is always gonna be the black stuff in the intake regardless what you do, the way the cams are ground it alows a lot of exhaust gases back up into the intake, every street motor ive seen will have carbon up into the intake ports, the only motors ive seen that dont get any carbon into the intake is full race motors with big cams and lots of duration..
