Ok, I just got mine in the mail, and my dad is throwing a sh** fit. He is saying...ohh the cops will be after you because it is sooooo very loud. And how the exhaust fumes will be comming out right under the passenger side compartment..."Killing the passeneger and everybody inside the car" And how its going to rust like a mother f**** and I am never going to be able to get this thing off. IS ANY OF THIS TRUE! Thanks for the help.

haha...NO!, its loud but not that loud, i dont EVER smell exhaust fumes, i got a buddy w/headers on his LS1 adn through a flowmaster muffler his car is 3 times louder than mine with the cutout open...its possible for it to rust closed but thats if you leave it closed for like many many miles of driving in the rain which most likely will not happen...
its loud only on cold mornings! other than that, its fine. i quote the cop who stopped me" your car sounds too powerful, what mods do you have?" i told him it was a magnaflow performance muffler and i was on my merry old way. no rust, definately no fumes (after cat!)
